Swim Program at YJCC in Washington Township

For children not yet ready to participate on a swim team, the Bergen County YJCC offers a pre-competition program. The pre-competition program is an ideal transition from learning to competing. The sessions run more like a practice than a swim lesson to help swimmers perfect the strokes needed to compete. In addition, swimmers practice starts, turns and other competitive moves.

Two sessions are offered: Sundays, April 22nd through June 17th, 12:15 pm to 1:00 pm or Wednesdays, April 25th through June 13th, 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.

Children may attend one or two days per week. Fees for one day per week are $128 for YJCC members and $184 for non-members. Both days are $224 for YJCC members and $288 for non-members. Placement tests will be held on Sunday, April 15th from 11:00 am to noon and on Monday, April 16th from 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
